A new competition for future youth
Boulder Lab is proud to host the Youth D & Youth X Lab Championships— a full Youth World Championship format event giving our emerging athletes an authentic, professional-tier competitive experience. Victorian, interstate, and New Zealand competitors are all welcome.
We have a proud history of supporting Victorian climbing, and are excited to continue to develop the forefront of youth climbing in Australia.

Entry quotas are strictly enforced to maintain schedule integrity. Secure your spot early — a waitlist will be available once capacity is reached.

Modelled on Youth World Championship standards to prepare competitors for future competition.

Forerunning videos provided for all qualification boulders.

Parking: Please note, as we are expecting a large volume of traffic, there will be limited car parking onsite. Please refer to the map below for alternative parking where there is plenty of space a short walk away (200m). Please be respectful to other businesses operating in the near vicinity and avoid parking in their car parks.
Isolation & Support Rules
The following access rules apply to the Isolation (Iso) zone:
Youth X Isolation
Parents and registered coaches are permitted into isolation. Standard isolation rules apply.
After isolation closes, you will not be permitted to re-enter if you leave.
Youth D Isolation
Registered Coaches only are permitted into isolation. Parents are not permitted in this zone.
Please ensure all competitors are in isolation well ahead of closing time. We will not be permitting competitors access to the round if they are late to isolation.

If you are a coach planning on entering isolation, you may register by sending an email to [email protected] with:
  • Your name
  • Your athlete name(s) and their parent/guardian's email address
  • A copy of your current and valid WWCC
Rules & Regulations
Standard World Climbing rules apply.

You will need to complete a Boulder Lab waiver before competing.
By fulfilling the waiver, the signee authorises Boulder Lab to use images/photographs/videos of them that may be taken at the event. Please only take photographs from the spectator areas and only take photographs of your own children.
Timetable
Registration closes Wednesday, June 3rd at 11:59 pm, or earlier if capacity is reached. A waitlist will be available once a category fills.

Volunteers
Events like these are only possible with the generous help of volunteers. We will be looking for judges, isolation marshals, and general helpers. If you are available to lend a hand even for a short period of time it will be greatly appreciated.
